Transport Planner - Kings Langley

My client, a fast-growing, multidisciplinary Engineering consultancy that works on projects throughout the UK. They are currently looking for a technically skilled Transport Planner with a bias for Development Planning, to join their Hertfordshire office and work on a range of projects throughout the area.
The ideal Transport Planner will have a strong educational background, followed by at least 3 years experience working within the Transportation area. With experience working on a range of different developments, you will be confident in the following:
*The production of Travel Plans and Transport Assessments
*Junction design and assessments
*Providing advice on accesses to developments
*Transport modelling
*Highway design
*The use of relevant industry software (ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT, VISSIM)
*Liaising with clients
The Transport Planner will find themselves involved in projects in a range of sectors including retail, commercial and residential. You will be encouraged to take responsibility within these projects and will be developed towards a project management role.
