Quantity Surveyor - Civils
A midlands based civil engineering contractor are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to an internal restructure. This contractor works within the midlands and are based in the Lincoln area. They have been within the industry for 10 years and have a large client base including the likes of Wates, May Gurney and Balfe, along with some smaller contractors within the civils and groundworks industry. They have a high level of repeat business due to their extremely high standards and can always ensure fast completion of work to satisfy the requirements of clients.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in the civil engineering and groundworks sector and be able to hit the ground running with regards to pricing and preparing B of Q's. They will be able to understand the needs of clients and have experience working either for a main contractor or for a subcontractor who works with main contractor clients.
This role is initially on a part time basis (3 days per week) leading to a full time role once there is an increase in workload - which is something that you will be involved in producing.
The salary for this role is dependant on experience and will be on a pro rata basis. This could be a permanent role or a fixed term contract depending on the candidate and the route that the client wishes to take.
