A rare permanent job opportunity has arisen for a chartered building surveyor to join a national leading property consultancy. The organisation are market leaders in what they do and offer a full range of services including acquisitions/disposals, landlord and tenant work, lease advisory and rent reviews and building consultancy. They have a wide range of clients from both the private sector and the public sector.
The job on offer is for a commercial chartered building surveyor, working within the building consultancy team, the candidate will be carrying out core building surveying duties working alongside the GP surveyors and working on dilapidation surveys, acquisition and disposal work on behalf of a landlord or tenant, condition surveys on a range of properties and also project management with new build/extension sites.
The ideal candidate will preferably be somebody that has become chartered recently and perhaps has a couple of years of post qualification experience under their belt. Being MRICS isn't essential however the individual must have very strong commercial experience, ideally working within a property consultancy or multi disciplinary commercial agency background. The candidate can either be degree qualified or have worked their way into such a position through experience but the most essential criteria for this position is having commercial building surveying experience.
