We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Design Engineer for an international multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning organisation and work within a range of sectors including rail, water, roads and energy.
Suitable applicants will be chartered or working towards chartered status. A Civil Engineering academic background is preferred ideally with a further qualification in Geotechnical Engineering.
working in a team of geotechnical and civil engineering specialists, the successful candidate will provide technical support and management skills for a range of design projects within both the public and private sectors. Typical duties may include; slope stability design, deep and shallow foundation design, design of retaining structures, detailed report writing, client liaison and project management.
