Chartered Building Surveyor, Commercial experience, Condition Surveys, Dilapidations - Northampton
Due to expansion, a well established Midlands based Property & Surveying Consultancy who pride themselves in providing a professional property services to a wide client base across the UK, have an immediate requirement for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to meet the demands of a rapidly increasing workload. Based in central Northamptonshire, this reputable consultancy provide a comprehensive range of services through their Professional, Building and Agency departments including managing landlord & tenant issues, rating, investment advice, building consultancy as well as buying, selling and leasing commercial property across the UK.
As a Chartered Building Surveyor within the Building Consultancy division, you will be required to undertake a wide range of work on commercial buildings including pre-acquisition surveys, condition surveys, dilapidation assessments & reports, planned maintenance schedules, defect diagnosis and project management from inception through to completion ensuring all planning, building regulations, Party Wall and CDM issues are addressed.
In order to hit the ground running in this challenging role you will ideally come from a consultancy background and have hands-on building surveying experience on commercial buildings. Previous commercial experience is particularly important for this role.
Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will be a Chartered Building Surveyor or a surveyor who is very close to becoming chartered with some years experience under their belt, with a proven track record of experience within a similar organisation (consultancy background).
