Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the technical delivery on a number of Anglian Water projects.
Drive excellence in Health and Safety in design. Eliminate hazards and reduce risks during design.
Ensure the CDMC is advised at the start of design and agree the CDM strategy for the review of PCI, DRA, construction drawings and any other relevant information for the project.
Plan the technical aspects of the projects and agree every Plan for Stage with the Project Manager.
Use Plantrac (or relevant management tool) to monitor technical teams` progress on all required deliverables.
Manage the key technical stakeholders. In particular, provide technical liaison with the end-user and construction representatives. Be the key interface between the design team and all other AWS departments.
Work with the Discipline Heads and / or PADM to ensure that all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards and specifications.
Maintain excellent communications with the Project Manager (project issues) and the PADM / Discipline Head (technical issues).
