We have an urgent requirement for an Assistant Geotechnical Design Engineer for a global multidisciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced design engineer to further their career within an award winning organisation.
Suitable candidates will have a strong Civil Engineering academic background, ideally with further qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering.
Typical activities will include; shallow and piled foundation analysis and design, liquefaction assessment, slope stability assessment and ground investigation planning.
A sound working knowledge of the numerical modelling software packages: Slope W, WALLAP, PLAXIS and FLAC is essential for this position.
