Senior / Principal Environmental Scientist

The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities. Responsibilities: We are looking for an Environmental Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will have relevant experience in environmental assessment, and some experience of helping coordinate and manage small to medium EIA projects. Highways and windfarm project experience would be of particular value. We are seeking strong technical skills along with excellent report writing ability, and you will be working towards achieving Chartered Environmentalist status or similar. In return, we can offer involvement in a wide range of exciting and often high profile projects, with significant opportunities to develop technical and management skills. Contribute to and help coordinate EIA projects. Maintain our high quality of environmental deliverable and ensure project financial performance. Provide support on technical matters relating to EIA and the environment in general. Liaise with clients, engineers and other design team members. Support business development initiatives. Requirements: Relevant EIA experience. A good degree qualification in a relevant environmental / natural science. Higher degree desirable. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Excellent report writing skills. Willing to work out of other offices as required.
