In this role you will be providing services associated with this Council`s responsibilities for the Health and Safety of employees and others affected by the Council`s activities.
You will help to develop and monitor the implementation of health and safety related policies, practices and systems.
You will provide other departments with advice on all aspects of occupational health and safety including statutory requirements, safety policies, safe systems of work, and safe places at work.
In addition you will provide advice and assistance on fire safety procedures and arrangements.
You will hold a NEBOSH Diploma or similar and have practical experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
Contract Duration: 6 months.
