The appointed engineer must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and preferably be Chartered with the IMechE or alternative appropriate body.
Extensive experience of outline and detailed mechanical design work, with both clean water and wastewater experience.
Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts as well as significant experience technically.
A strong focus on Health and Safety in design and knowledge of the relevant regulations.
Proven ability and experience in providing a customer focussed service and ensuring clients are satisfied.
Computer literate and able to work effectively work with the basic Microsoft suite of programmes as a minimum.
Responsibilities:
Liaison with Clients both internal and external.
Working as part of a project team to deliver high quality technical work to clients on budget and to programme.
Providing detailed technical input to a variety of feasibility, outline and detailed design projects.
Providing technical support as required to other members of the project team.
Technical report writing.
Site Visits.
Adherence to the QSE procedures.
