My client is an award winning Architect and national Architectural Engineering Consultancy with over 130 years experience across a wide range of disciplines. This enables my client to provide creative and cost effective solutions for new builds or refurbishments.
As modern Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors in the UK, they work in partnership with their clients through the whole process to help turn their vision into practical reality.
Alongside my clients general practice they have particular expertise in Healthcare, Assisted Independent Living, Education, Industrial, Commercial, Leisure, Listed Buildings, Residential and Domestic.
As the Senior Civil & Structural Engineer based in Hull you will be involved in projects of all sizes. You will liaise with the in house Architects and surveyors to produce effective and cost efficient solutions.
You will be a Senior Structural Engineer with knowledge of Civil Engineering and be Chartered, also be a member of a relevant institute. You will be experienced in Structural Engineering and have a knowledge of Civil Engineering. You will have worked with all structural materials. Ideally coming from a consultancy background but not essential and be an all round Engineer. It is important that you still have good knowledge of design as you will be a leader to the technicians and engineers so technicial knowledge is a must. You will have experience in managing projects also.
The role itself will be working projects throughout the UK so there will be times visiting clients/sites so being flexible for travel is a must but this will be reimbursed with a car/allowance. The client will also pay any toll over the Humber Bridge as well.
The salary for the role is £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits inc car/allowance. This salary is negotiable as the client wants to get the right Engineer for the role. The position is also available on a contract basis with the look to go permanent.
