A leading and nationally recognised civil engineering and construction contractor is currently seeking a Contracts Manager for an immediate start on either a permanent or contract basis.
The projects to be undertaken include mixed-use developments, residential, commercial buildings, education and healthcare. Projects range in value, on average between £50m and £60m. The Contracts Manager will be required to manage a team of Project Managers, ultimately ensuring all works are carried out to the highest possible standards, and liaise with commercial staff to make sure all projects are brought in on budget.
To be considered for this role, it is essential the Contracts Manager has extensive experience in the construction industry, preferably having a steady career path working for nationally recognised contractors. A good understanding of the commercial side of the industry must be shown, along with excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead major multi million pound projects from inception through to completion.
