
My client is a regional housing association based in Bristol who have over 8,000 properties and 350 staff and are still growing. They are looking for a Safety, Health and Environment Advisor to be in charge of the in-house direct labour department, ensuring that the construction and maintenance of the homes are done in a safe and compliant manner.
This role will involve writing policies and procedures, method statements and risk assessments, as well as implementing and developing the new site audit forms. Some training will be involved so having a training qualification would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety in the construction industry, minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate, although not necessary having a NEBOSH Diploma would be an advantage. As this role will involve being onsite 2/3 days a week, the candidates must have their own car.
