We are seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant for an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy based near Bradford. Suitable applicants will have expertise in air quality modelling and EIA.
Suitable applicants will have a strong academic background ideally with MSc Degree in Environmental Management/Science/EIA. Ideally candidates will be chartered with a relevant Air Quality Institute.
Candidates must demonstrate an ability to undertake air quality road traffic emissions and stationary combustion source modelling assessments, they must be an effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with multiple teams. Experience of UK regulatory systems, air quality legislation in the UK, and clients is essential.
Addition technical abilities required include; air quality modelling (including ADMS-Roads, DMRB screening, ADMS, and/or AERMOD), preparing air quality chapters for Environmental Statements and monitoring air quality impacts.
Working on a range of highway projects, the successful candidate will carry out air quality assessments and help develop the air quality capabilities within the UK. You will also mentor junior staff and assist with project management. Candidates who can offer marketing and business development skills will have an advantage.
