The purpose of the role is to supervise maintenance and new works teams and operatives in the performance of their duties to recognised standards of productivity and quality and compliance with essential health and safety provisions.

The role will involve the following:

§ To oversee the effective and timely delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive works and Minor New Works.
§ To monitor Direct Service Providers (DSP's) and Supply Chain performance, service delivery, quality and safe working on site.
§ Liaise with Project Managers and Site Estate Delivery Managers on maintenance and new works activities
§ Providing technical support where required to the maintenance teams.
§ To perform audits on completed and in progress works and input results into WorkManager
§ To liaise with customers and clients and deal with complaints etc.
§ Periodically examine maintenance records to ensure that necessary work has been undertaken as required by the safe system of work
§ Ensure compliance and adherence of company and client health and safety procedures
§ As an Authorised Person (AP), must be prepared to undertake AP duties, for which appropriate training will be given
§ This role is based at Kineton; however the successful candidate must be willing to travel to other locations, as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

§ Experience of managing and supervising staff in the appropriate disciplines in a demanding construction/property maintenance environment
§ Solving problems and taking decisions
§ Managing work and resources to achieve results
§ Management of safe system of work
§ Technical qualifications ONC Electrical or Building Services
§ Practical experience in construction/property maintenance
§ Contract site control
§ Ability to be able to work as part of a team and on own.

The contract is non Residential/Housing related, candidates from a Commercial/Industrial property maintenance background with have a distinct advantage.
