Hays Civil & Structural Engineering are currently working with a well established engineering consultancy who have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Nottinghamshire.
My client have a proven track record of delivering projects, particularly within the rail industry but also in other areas such as commercial and highways and, due to a significant increase in their workload require and Structural Engineer to work alongside an Associate in delivering these projects.
On a day to day basis, the successful candidate will be undertaking design calculations at all levels for various steel, concrete, foundation, super structure, substructure etc... schemes while managing their own workload, so solid structural engineering knowledge, gained from any sector, along with project management skills are required.
Although Chartership would be advantageous, my client will consider non-chartered candidates with design experience and the right approach to their work, while this role will also offer candidates the opportunity to progress their careers further.
