EIA Water Specialist / Engineer

My client is looking for a Technical Water Specialist to provide support and produce water related elements of Environmental Impact Assessments. The role will involve: Preparation and review of hydrological ES chapters and statements and accompanying technical reports. Providing expert advice to clients. Liaison with environmental regulators on water management issues. Technical studies and investigations. Provide leadership and assist in the technical development of Junior Hydrologists / Engineers. Experience: Candidates should possess several years` relevant experience in Drainage, Flood Risk And Hydrology, have a broad knowledge of environmental issues, preferably be chartered with an appropriate professional body (or progressing towards professional qualification) e.g. CIWEM as well as possessing first class technical capabilities, excellent communication, client liaison and project management skills. The successful individual will be an engineer with extensive experience in both the design and report writing of projects in flood risk, hydrology and environmental impact assessment. Any additional skills with either flood risk modelling or water efficiency will be advantageous.
