About the Company: My Client is a reputable boutique design and build company that specialise in the conception of individually crafted, contemporary luxury homes. The Group have been established for over 15 years and since this time have built a reputation for exceptional quality, design and innovation in their product. Their continuous success in developing, high-end bespoke properties has propelled the company to elite status within the development sector and has ensured that they are widely recognised as industry leaders in luxury homes.
About the Role: The Group are currently in the process of commencing 5 new developments, including a scheme for 7 apartments and a large development of 2 individual properties worth a combined value of £20 . They have sold a further £80m of product in the last 6 months and have a portfolio of work in the pipeline with projects ranging in values between £8m - £30m. With this in mind the group are seeking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager. This individual will be responsible for the Health & Safety across multiple sites; will assist in site-set-ups; maintaining safety programmes; carrying out site visits and tool box talks; weekly safety reports for the directors and will have a complete understanding of the legal and contractual safety obligations in the development sector.
About the Requirement: The successful Health & Safety Manager will be degree qualified in construction or have a relevant safety qualification and will have previous significant experience working as a Safety Manager on multi-million pound developments; will be from a professional background and will have an appreciation of the engineering behind bespoke developments. The Health & Safety Manager will be a driven individual who has an obsession for detail and excellent man management skills.
