My client, a national contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced uPVC window fitter, to work on a contract with a local authority in the Berkshire area.
This job will involve complete install and maintenance of uPVC windows and fascias, so experience is essential. You may also be required to undertake some refurbishments of some wooden windows also.
Duties may include removal of old windows with hand and/or power tools, measuring up, fixing, sealing and finally making good any damage that may be caused during fitting.
Skills necessary include an awareness of safe working practices, especially when handling glass, the ability to plan and organise workloads to meet job deadlines. You must also have a pleasant and polite manner when dealing with customers.
A valid UK drivers licence is also required.
