My client, a well established housing association, are recruiting a Technical Coodinator to join their organisation.
This role primarily involves the management and delivery of the Maintenance, Repairs and Regeneration Services to tenants and other housing customers and to ensure that the housing stock is maintained in good condition.
The main duties and responsibilities for this role involve:
-Co-ordinating the day to day maintenance requirements.
-Ensuring resources are deployed and managed effectively.
-Co-ordinating the direct provision of designated responsive, cyclical and planned maintenance.
-Effective monitoring of contractors.
-Co-ordinating the day to day functions of the team, including supervision of planners, storeman and tradesman.
-Leading a designated team to deliver performance and financial objectives, as well as customer service standards.
-Effectively manage and control budgets.
To be shortlisted for this role, it is essential that you are from a construction trades background, and have extensive team management skills. It is also essential that you have demonstrable management experience in a multi trade background. Practical experience and understanding of building technology, construction, contract drawings, bills of quantities and specifications is also essential.
It is desirable although not essential that you will have worked in a similar environment, and have an understanding of maintenance services, housing construction, improvement programmes, adaptations and maintenance.
