Senior Ecologist - Oxfordshire
A professional consultancy based in Oxfordshire is looking to expand the team with a Senior Ecologist. Specialising in landscape architecture, ecology and planning, this is a great chance to further your career within a successful consultancy where you will be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally.
The ideal Senior Ecologist will have proven experience in the preparation and co-ordination of EcIAs for a variety of projects. You will have experience of managing a number of projects. You will have demonstrable knowledge of legislation, best practice guidance and the UK planning system. You will hold at least one protected species licence (preferably bat and/or dormouse) and specialise in a particular ecological field.
The Senior Ecologist role will involve carrying out and co-ordinating a wide range of habitat and species surveys, demonstrating a good knowledge of British flora and fauna. You will be required to liaise with clients, developing existing relationships and winning new business. You will also be required to write reports and work well alongside clients, consultees and colleagues.
