Our client leads New Zealand in the delivery of multidisciplinary services within the engineering sector. Opportunities to join the team are rare and should be explored. A senior opportunity to join their busy Mechanical Engineering team in Christchurch has now arisen in the form of Principal Acoustic Engineer.
This role will see the successful incumbent be heavily involved in acoustic design of commercial and industrial replacement buildings as such playing a key part in the City's rebuild. In order to be considered for this role you will be a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with no less than 15 years specific experience gained in building acoustics within a consulting environment.
As this is a senior role, aside from your strong technical skills which you will utilise to deliver innovative acoustic design solutions; the technical mentoring and career progression of the members within your team will be a significant responsibility also.
Furthermore, your well developed commercial skills will assist you in not only identifying, but also successfully securing, further profitable project opportunities within the wider Canterbury region.
