Senior Bridge Engineer

Due to our client`s continued success winning work around the world, we are looking for an experienced Bridge Engineer to join an established and forward looking Bridge Engineering dept. within an internationally renowned consultancy. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have extensive experience and be competent with post-tensioned bridge designs with, ideally, use of AASHTO LRFD (US design codes). You will need to be very competent technically with the ability to lead and teach others. My client is currently winning a lot of work from the Middle East and other international regions, so if you are looking to further your career as a Bridge Engineer with the chance to work on prestigious projects this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most respected international engineering consultancies. Current and future UK workloads include major UK Rail, High Speed 2, British Waterways bridges, major Highways Agency bridges and Local Authority bridges. You will be leading designs and checks on civil structures, providing technical support to more junior members within the bridges and civil structures team. You will be responsible for the production/checking of structural reports including approval in principles, feasibility reports and Assessment reports. To be considered for this role, you should have a Degree in Civil Engineering and be ideally Chartered or near chartered with UK Institutions. You must have no VISA restrictions to travel and work outside the UK.
