An experienced Project Planner is needed for a varied role that will require planning and commercial responsibilities
Our client is currently working on a educational new build on the Isle of Wight who needs an experienced project planner to review the program to evidently produce evidence for the project extension and how the work will be planned in to meet the revised completion date.
You will be needed for a duration of around 4 weeks to get the work completed, they would like to enhance their project team with a Project Planner.
Working in partnership with the Commercial team, your commercial experience will also be important in order to ensure that the organisations commercial interests are protected throughout the project lifecycle.
Familiarity with Contracts will be important, particularly the NEC form of contract.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of working on construction new build contracts as a project planner.
The individual will have planned multi disciplined contracts and will understand the project relationship between the disciplines of Construction.
In return the individual will receive a competitive salary with travel to and from the Island paid in addition.
To be considered for the position you must possess/be all of the following:
Experienced Project Planner who has worked on disciplined Projects incorporating Civil Engineering, Construction, Mechanical & Electrical packages.
Experience of using Primavera P6 (P3E)
Risk management/assessment experience and experience of undertaking Earned Value & Risk analysis
A track record of sourcing and collating project data in order to develop detailed programmes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
