We are seeking an experienced geotechnical design engineer for an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy in Bedford. This prestigious organisation require geotechnical expertise for a number of large scale infrastructure projects in South East England.
The successful candidate will join a team of civil, structural and geotechnical engineers and provide technical support for railway, flood defence, structural and infrastructure projects.
Applicants must demonstrate expertise with deep and shallow foundation design, retaining and gravity embedded wall design, earthworks assessment, interpretive and technical report writing. In addition to technical skills, suitable applicants will have first class communication skills, client liaison and team management will form a large part of the role.
It is essential that candidates have a BEng Civil Engineering ideally with a further qualification in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
