Applications Engineer required by Ventilation manufacturer for Air Handling Unit division. Work either from home or in the East Midlands office.
This is an opportunity for a qualified applications engineer to join this growing division of a major HVAC manufacturing group.
THE ROLE
You will be receiving enquiries from consultants and contractors, and offeringsuitable equipment from the companies extensive range of air handling units, heat recovery and associated equipment.
These will relate typically to supply only ventilation and airconditioning projects that require air handling units in supermarkets, hotels, leisure centres, schools and universities.
When an order comes in you will be responsible for selecting an appropriate system, quoting the customer, checking technical details,placing orders to the factory and suppliers and taking ownership of the project as a single point of contact for the customer.
THE PERSON
You must have either a background in mechanical engineering either as a graduate or trades background.
Must have experience as an applications engineer including technical quotations and the management of equipment contracts including air handling and selection software.
You must be numerate, computer literate and be competent in Excel and Word.

THE PACKAGE
The company is offering a salary between £30k and £40k depending on experienced and the possibility of a bonus as the role develops.
THE LOCATION
This is either an office based role in the East Midlands or for those suitably experienced they could work from home with equipment provided to them.
