My client is a consulting and business services group, which helps clients in the public sector and regulated industry to provide better everyday services to customers and communities. Its combination of professional, commercial and technical expertise enables clients to improve their strategy, services, people and asset management.
Due to an increase in their workload they require an Principle Engineering/ Modeller to manage the Waste Water element of the department. You'll provide technical leadership and guidance to their team in the delivery of large / complex wastewater asset management studies. This will involve the production of network models using standard industry modelling software (InfoWorks CS, "D or ICM) and other projects requiring detailed technical analysis. The role includes technical and financial project management as well as ensuring project delivery.
Suitable candidates will have a minimum HNC / HND qualification in a relevant subject, you'll preferably be degree qualified, although this is not essential, whilst post graduate qualifications would be advantageous. You'll have professional level membership of a relevant institution as well as a proven and demonstrable technical background in delivering large / complex wastewater projects to time, budget and client satisfaction. A sound working knowledge of industry wastewater modelling software including model build, verification and auditing, solution development and design is key as is a broad understanding of water and wastewater asset management (including highways drainage) within the UK Water Industry.
