Reporting to the Reservoir & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the condition and performance of the building stock ensuring that it is fit for purpose addressing building integrity, Health & Safety liabilities and the business expectations to the future. In this role, your proven record of achievement and experience will enable you to deliver measurable improvements.
You will define the planned maintenance strategy for all Company Buildings, co-ordinating an effective, efficient service through active management of all planned and reactive maintenance activities.
You will demonstrate proven experience of project and budget management incorporating tendering process and preparation of contracts, with ability to liaise with external bodies. Proven ability to manage a team of people in the delivery of the strategy coupled with a good understanding of appropriate Health & Safety legislation and ensuring compliance with other legislation and regulations necessary in the safe management of the Company’s building stock.
Experience of working in a large complex organisation and managing a varied building asset stock is essential. You will hold a minimum HNC/HND in Building studies/construction, possessing strong communication skills coupled with the ability to present facts and information effectively both in writing and verbally.
