Commercial Manager (Comm12)
Responsibilities
· Responsible for contentious contractual review and advice for the Requirements associated with a new build iconic hotel and residential project in Cairo Egypt: Due for completion mid 2014
· Responsible for the Management of the commercial team
· Review & certification of Payment certificates
· Analysis of claims, evaluation of new unit rates
· Preparation of variation & cost estimate
· Negotiation with contractors & reconciliation
· Monitoring financial status of the contract & cost control
· Project closeout & settlement of financial accounts

Qualifications
Previous experience of Commercial Management at RICS level on a project of this scale. This is a very high profile client facing role and requires a person who has been in this position and environment for at least 12 years
· At least 20 years’ experience in the industry and at least 12 years in this position at RICS level
· Should have previous commercial management experience in High rise/ commercial/ Hotel projects
· Graduate in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
· Familiar with conditions of contract under FIDIC
· Middle East or North Africa experience will be an added advantage.
· Chartered institute membership.
