About the job
The CAD Designer will be responsible for the concept, basic and detailed design based on client and site specific requirements for clean water, wastewater and bio-solids conditioning plants.

You'll be responsible for the production of P&ID's, mass balance diagrams, process flow diagrams, hydraulic profiles, line lists, piping specs, single line diagrams, general arrangements, piping layouts, piping isometrics, steelwork details, civil details, site plot layouts, and construction sequence animations.

You'll have knowledge of the principles and practices of 2D, 3D and 4D CAD as applied to engineering projects.

What you'll need
The candidate will have an engineering qualification and or certification from an ACAD approved trainer and have experience in water/wastewater treatment plant engineering. The senior positions will require proven experience. You'll be able to work unsupervised and be able to provide a peer level review of CAD designs - you'll be ACAD trained and ACAD 3D Design.

There may be a need to travel between locations in the UK with willingness to work in client offices and visit construction sites - therefore a full UK driving licence is required. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team are further essential attributes for this position.

The successful candidate would be joining a division that focuses in the UK Water business which has strategic growth plans for its engineering and contracting business.
