Lift Maintenance Engineer

This high-end organization seeks a Lift Maintenance Engineering Manager. This consultancy specialises in the built environment and offers a wide range of services, delivering technical advice and support to satisfy the demanding requirements of the managers engaged in running today's commercial and public sector buildings. They interactively combine the expertise and experience of four core disciplines - Technical Management; Engineering Consultancy Services; Design and Project Management; and Energy and Sustainability - to deliver a tailored service for every client`s specific needs. The key tasks of the role consist of the on-going management of the lift and escalator maintenance provider and the overall service delivery to the client. The main objective of the service is to ensure that the work being carried out by the contractor is to the specified standard as well as reporting on maintenance performance and the condition of the Vertical Transportation services. Additionally, the service provides for an advisory facility to assist with day-to-day queries that may arise, ensuring the smooth running of the Vertical Transportation services. You will arrange and attend meetings, promptly issue minutes of meetings and provide advice on Vertical Transportation services. For this role you must have previous experience in inspecting lifts and escalators, have a BEng or BSc Engineering degree as well as good IT knowledge and a minimum of 3 years` experience. If you are a CIBSE member that would be a distinct advantage. You should be able to work on own initiative and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
