You will join an established consultancy engaged on transmission and distribution projects at voltage levels from 11kV to 400kV for the National Grid, distribution network operators, Network Rail and London Underground. In addition, they work with a number of organisations overseas in Africa and the Middle East. They have built a strong reputation for winning and successfully delivering prestigious projects.
As Control and Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Protection and connection diagrams and front end design proposals.
- Protection settings calculations.
- Protection Designs (AC and DC Circuit Diagrams, interface cable connection diagrams).
You are a Control and Protection Expert with a background working in the UK as a control and protection design engineer on projects for distribution network operators (DNOs) or the National Grid / Electricity Alliance at voltage levels of 132kV - 400kV. You should be a qualified electrical engineer (to HNC or equivalent) and be familiar with UK standards governing the industry.
