You will join an established consultancy engaged on transmission and distribution projects at voltage levels from 11kV to 400kV for the National Grid, distribution network operators, Network Rail and London Underground. In addition, they work with a number of organisations overseas in Africa and the Middle East. They have built a strong reputation for winning and successfully delivering prestigious projects.
Using standard industry software, such as DigSilent, ERACS or IPSA, you will be responsible for power systems design, network modelling and load flow analysis for distribution network projects up to 132kV. Power Systems Engineers with experience using PSSE, MATLAB or ETAP will also be considered.
You should have either substantial experience in Power Systems Engineering or a Masters in electrical engineering, power engineering (or equivalent) with knowledge of the above software packages.
