A Leading Construction Consultancy is seeking to employ an experienced Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join their busy Gatwick based team. The team is overseeing a £1.5 Billion investment in Gatwick Airport; this ranges in scope from small maintenance related projects to major capital projects
You will need the following experience:
- You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor from a Consultancy background, with at least 4 years experience.
- You will ideally be professionally qualified; for example MRICS, MACostE.
- You will have experience of major projects in the Infrastructure sectors, ideally with significant UK project experience, having worked on projects like Heathrow (T5 or others) CTRL, JLE, Heathrow Express or Thameslink.
- ESSENTIAL - You will be experienced in NEC Form of Contract, in particular NEC3 / NEC Target Cost (Option C).
The need for this role is urgent, hence whilst individuals on long notice periods or individuals based overseas will be considered, the preference would be for someone immediately available or on a short notice period (one month).
This role is a Permanent position and will attract a basic of around £38,000 plus car allowance, Pension and other benefits.
