My client, a leading UK Environmental and Agricultural Consultancy with a wide range of high-profile clients, is currently on the lookout for a hardworking Wayleave Officer to join their team in the North West and be involved in obtaining Wayleaves, landowners consent and easements for the installation and refurbishment of overhead electricity lines.

The ideal Wayleave officer will have a relevant educational background, coupled with previous experience working as a Wayleave Officer. With good knowledge of Wayleaves work in the electricity industry, and a solid understanding of relevant legislation and of the rural environment, you will be a confident communicator and will be confident in liaising with a range of professionals. A driving licence is also essential to this role.

*The key responsibilities of the Wayleave Officer's role are:
*Liaising with landowners to secure access for overhead line work

*Obtaining all Wayleave Agreements/Deeds of Easement

*Obtaining all environmental consents necessary

*Submitting notifications for Section 37 agreements

*Liaise will all non-statutory consultants
*Providing support for the selection of new routes

*Arrange for the purchase or lease of land for operational purposes

*Resolving any disputes

*Assisting in business development

*Providing support to other Wayleave Officers
