Export Sales Manager (Director Designate) required by leading HVAC manufacturer to lead external and internal sales teams. This is an opportunity for an experienced export sales manager to develop the current export business and achieve a board position within 12 months. THE ROLE The company has a dedicated internal and external export team covering some European markets and it wants to build on its success by expanding in other markets including Germany and the Far East.
You will be responsible for developing the strategy for these markets, winning major bespoke project opportunities and recruiting distributors and agents to service them.
THE PERSON You need to have a track record in developing export sales in HVAC or engineering products.
You also need to demonstrate the management ability to recruit and develop a team to achieve improved performance.
Above and beyond this you need to show the aptitude for a director level position in your intiative, motivation and strategic decision making.
Fluency in German or alternatively another language would be an advantage.
THE LOCATION
You can expect to spend around a third of your time abroad and the rest working with your staff and the senior team at their office in the South East.
