As the rebuild of Christchurch continues to find momentum so the need for specialists in the civil sector continues to be apparent. One of the largest civil contractors in New Zealand is currently searching for committed and professional workers to join their team as part of the Christchurch recovery programme.

As a company they specialise in most forms of civil engineering working in a number of sectors including earthworks, structures, piling, water, maintenance and utilities. Many of these sectors will be part of the rebuild but the focus at the moment is on water, specifically dewatering projects.

This is a specialist area of work around the earthquake zone and so experience must include;



    • A minimum of 8 years site based experience

    • Solid experience of dewatering projects including wells, spears & pumps

    • Good man management experience

    • A good sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in
