As a member of their new structural team you will be involved with the design of bridges, cut and cover structures and other transport structures. In order to be considered for this once in a life-time opportunity you will be a degree qualified Structural Engineer with at least 5 years bridge design experience gained in a consulting environment.
Furthermore you will need to be technically competent designing using materials such as reinforced concrete and structural steel and be a competent user of Strand7, SAM, Microstran or other similar analysis and design software.
Your career portfolio will show you to be a design focused engineer that takes pride in their work with meticulous attention to detail and you will be an excellent communicator with a natural interest in mentoring others. It is envisaged that you will either already hold or be close to obtaining Chartered status.
