The client, a leading Engineering & Management Contractor engaged in major offshore renewable energy projects including wind farms and wave and tidal developments, now need an experienced Project Engineer to join their team in the London office. Role & reponsibilities: -Supervision of analysts, material specialists and other engineers. -Conduct Risk Assessments with assistance of HSE specialist. -Notify Project Manager of actual and potential variations to scope. -Monitor manpower loading against CTRs and inform management of shortfalls or over runs. -Attend meetings with Client representing the company.. -Guide junior staff in their work. Monitor performances and inform Project Manager when standards are not met.Suitable candidates will be degree qualified, in a relavant discipline and have a minimum ten years post graduate experience in an offshore engineering environment to include a minimum five years in the renewables energy sector. Must have exposure to the design and installation of subsea cables, cable entry systems and offshore structures and be conversant with offshore design codes eg DNV, NORSOK. Exposure to disciplines such as foundations, control systems, electrical cabling, would be an advantage.
