Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Business Development Manager
Rogers Utilities Limited is a utilities and civil engineering contractor based in the West Midlands, working throughout the UK for a wide variety of clients.
Due to continued growth we now require a Business Development Manager, the role will be varied and will include the following: Marketing, Purchasing, Client Interface, Managing Budgets and occasionally over-seeing Site Operations.
The successful applicant will be responsible for locating and securing new projects, be it from one off or fixed-term contracts and will be responsible for making sure these contracts commence smoothly, occasionally seeing them through from start to finish.
A willingness to assist in the development of our new ventures and expansion plans is imperative. Although our company is predominantly utilities based, in order to further our expansion plans, we will consider applicants with experience in civil engineering, surfacing, railway works etc.
An approachable management style, the ability to make effective decisions quickly with the aptitude to work without day to day instructions is vital. It is essential to have a keen eye for detail, knowing instinctively how to handle difficult situations.
We are looking for someone who can bring solutions to the table, who can operate well in a trust orientated environment, have a strong personality, be capable of standing your ground and have the coverage of your convictions.
