As the rebuild of Christchurch continues to find momentum so the need for specialists in the civil sector continues to be apparent. One of the largest civil contractors in New Zealand is currently searching for committed and professional engineers to join their team as part of the Christchurch recovery programme.

As a company they specialise in most forms of civil engineering working in a number of sectors including road construction, earthworks, structures, piling, water, maintenance, utilities, rail and energy. Many of these sectors will be part of the rebuild but the focus at the moment is on road construction and repair.
Specifically they are looking for candidates with aspirations of working at a project management level. The ideal candidates will be currently working as a Project Engineer, Sub/Site Agent, Site Manager who is looking to take the step into the role of Project Manager. Alternatively you may be in the early stages of your career as a Project Manager and as such you are encouraged to apply. Other desirable skills and experience include;
- A degree or equivalent trade qualification associated with civil engineering
- A minimum of 5 years experience ideally in road construction, surfacing or similar sector
- A winning attitude and a determination to grow your career
- A good sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in
