Activity inChristchurchis starting to lift and the rebuild is slowly starting its feet. Although not at full speed yet many companies are planning ahead and tailoring their business to the upcoming workload and demands. One such client of mine is making significant investment inChristchurchand the surrounding area to ensure that they capitalise on the work ahead but also establish themselves in the region for years to come.
Materials and building supplies are going to be in big demand once things get underway and pre cast concrete is one of them. As such this major civil operator is looking to open a pre cast manufacturing facility as part of their larger civil operation. They already run a very successful pre cast production facility on theNorthIslandand so are looking to replicate that success close to the local demand.
The immediate need is for a Production/Engineering Manager to head up this pre cast operation. Already there is a significant pipeline of work ahead and so it is expected that the incoming manager will build on that workload. As this is a specialised area of construction/production so the right candidate must have the right type of experience and background. Ideally you will already hold the position of production manager (or equivalent) in the pre cast industry and be looking for that new challenge. A clear understanding of the manufacturing process will come from at least 10 years in the sector as will the ability to develop new and existing business and forge new client relationships.
This is an important role to the company and as such they will wait for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be offered and excellent salary as part of a larger package in line with the senior nature of the position. You are encouraged to send a detailed and current CV highlighting your skills and suitability for this role by clicking on the apply caption below.
