The Role
We are currently recruiting for an excellent Senior Materials Handling Engineer for our Rail project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
You will develop/assign project tasks and hours
Oversee design of material handling systems, this includes a selection of appropriate material handling equipment for various applications;
Co-ordinate with the shippers to design the capacity of the facility
Development of layouts for material handling systems
Apply recognized engineering design/drafting principles, accuracy and overall quality.
Ensure that the discipline deliverables are completed by the agreed schedule and budget
Report writing
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical or Civil Structural Engineering
Familiarity with International Building Codes and engineering practices;
Strong communication and technical writing skills
Flexibility to travel and work on site when required;
Minimum of 10 years experience in the bulk material handling field with specific design knowledge on typical material handling equipment such as screw/belt conveyors, screw/belt feeders, lighting, drag conveyors, screens.
