A Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering is required to contribute to the continuing development of our portfolio of courses. The post holder will engage in course delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
You will be an academic or practitioner showing commitment and leadership in highway and transportation engineering, offering expertise in at least three specialist areas from:
• traffic management/analysis • geometric and junction design
• highway drainage and pavement design • highway maintenance and repair
Additionally, you should be able to contribute to at least one other subject area in Civil Engineering.
We welcome applicants with a PhD or other higher degree. Applications are also invited from those with commercial backgrounds demonstrating an aptitude for teaching and research. Chartered membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institute of Highways & Transportation is essential.
