An international, multi national, multi award wining, consultancy, with a vast network of UK offices, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Acoustic Consultant. The chosen candidate will be joining a pre-existing team within the South East,
Our client is offering a brilliant opportunity to a talented individual who holds quality experience (2-5 years) within the acoustics field (preferably with both environmental and building acoustics). The ideal applicant will have a minimum of a BSc in Acoustics or Noise and Vibration, and Full or Associate IoA membership.
Due to the nature of the role it may be necessary to occasionally travel/ stay away from home, consequently, a full UK driving license is essential.
Applicants should have:
*Both Environmental and building acoustics experience
*A firm understanding of current standards/ legislation
*Acoustic modeling experience
*Project management experience
*Strong communicative/ interpersonal skills
*Financial management experience
*EIA experience
*Experience with planning experience
*Some experience with public enquiries
*Experience writing and assessing technical reports
The Chosen candidate will:
*Assist with project delivery at all stages
*Assist with and occasionally oversee noise monitoring/surveys/measurements etc
*Work in accordance to standards/ legislation i.e… BS4142, BS 6472, BS 5228, etc)
*Provide advice on legislation
*Train more junior staff members,
*Liaison with clients, staff, contractors, architects, etc
*Prepare budgets, tenders, schedules, etc
Typical projects include;
Industry, Manufacturing, Power & Utilities, Energy, Commercial, Residential, Construction, minerals, Waste, EIAs, etc.
