I am currently recruiting for an experienced construction Project Manager with a local authority background for Maidstone, Kent.
Purpose of the Job:
Manage and deliver complex projects both within and across Directorates and partnership agencies. Utilising recognised project management methodologies to ensure that all projects are delivered effectively, to the required standard within the agreed deadlines, in accordance with existing and new Directorate and corporate policies and procedures.
Establish Project Boards to facilitate project implementation determine priorities and ensure completion in accordance with the Directorate's underlying policies and strategies.
The post holder will need to manage and lead their projects, making decisions on delivery and providing guidance to key strategic decision makers to secure the successful completion of the projects and will play a key role in delivering projects, programme and procurement advice, for each phase of the capital programme projects.
