My client is one of the most experienced specialist mechanical and electrical engineering and facilities services companies, with more than 100 years of experience.
To introduce and implement Regional marketing and business development strategies, plans and initiatives which support the achievement of current business objectives and lead to the development and maintenance of future markets and opportunities. To provide advice and appropriate reports to the Divisional Director and the Regional Management Team on all marketing and business development matters.
1.To manage the introduction, management and continuous development of the Regional marketing and business development strategies and associated initiatives.
2.To analyse and ensure that the Divisional Director and Regional Management Team are appraised of any market information that may assist in the acquisition of future business.
3. To provide professional advice on both operational and strategic business development, sales and estimating issues and associated matters within the Region.
4.Develop and maintain long term, effective relationships with existing and future key clients and other external parties, which will lead to profitable business opportunities.
5. Prepare strategic plans for the Regional and Business Unit corporate entertainment requirements. Execute agreed plans and host events as directed and approved by the Divisional Director.
6.Manage inputting and maintenance of the Company CRM system and produce appropriate reports as directed by the Divisional Director.
7.To co-ordinate with the Regional Customer Liaison Officer ensuring regular feedback and analysis of client responses. Assist Regional Customer Liaison Officer in the preparation and facilitating of Customer Care workshops.
8.In conjunction with the Estimating Manager and Commercial team ensure the scrutiny of tender documentation and develop appropriate tender/bid strategy.
9.Co-ordinate with the Regional Estimating Manager the allocation of estimating resources in response to tender enquiries.
10.Manage and prepare the compilation of pre-qualification documents and ensure compliance with Company national standards. Manage and assist in the compilation of tender
11.Ensure compliance with the Company's procedures and processes and a full audit trail of all documentation associated with the preparation and presentation of responses to pre-qualification, pre-tender and post-tender enquiries.
12.Ensure accurate financial and other information is collated to assist in the preparation of tenders
13. Manage the preparation and presentation of responses to tender enquiries from existing and future clients and undertake pre and post contract tender negotiations.
14.Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations media as appropriate to both external and internal customers.
15.Participate in business development activities and contribute to inter Group Company operations and initiatives
16.To line manage the BD Administrator and set tasks accordingly.
