A small Edinburgh based Consultancy who are involved in a range of projects from building structures to petrochemical engineering is seeking an Assistant Structural Design Engineer to join their team
The role will involve design of temporary structures used in civil engineering and build projects, assisting the Principal Engineer in undertaking structural calculations and working with clients to ensure each project is designed to budgets and timescales
Candidates will be either qualified to Degree level in Civil/Structural Engineering with some Temporary Works Design experience or will have strong experience in temporary works and structural design and be qualified to HND (or equivalent) level. Due to the size of the company excellent communication skills and the ability to be hands on whilst working under minimal supervision are both essential for the post
