We are currently looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to join our Water team in Basingstoke.
As a Principal Civil Engineer in our Basingstoke Water team you will be the technical lead for delivering design solutions for our clients with daily activities involving managing less experienced engineers within the design team, producing calculations, design and detailing together with input into the preparation of technical reports. You will attend site during construction and be able to communicate effectively with contractor clients on design issues. This role would suit a candidate with strong technical skills who prefers day to day involvement in project delivery.
The successful candidate will hold as a minimum a BSc or higher in Civil Engineering and be Chartered with membership of either the ICE or CIWEM. A relevant masters or other post graduate qualification is an advantage. You will have extensive post graduate experience of the design and construct environment and you will have focussed your career to date on the water/wastewater/hydraulic engineering sector. Site experience would be advantageous.
