Senior EIA Consultant - Glasgow - £30-£35K
My client is a well-established renewable energy consultancy and provides a range of services across the renewable services industry. They are looking to recruit a talented Senior EIA Consultant to join them in providing impeccable service to a wide range of clients and driving new and exciting projects.
In order to succeed in the role of Senior EIA Consultant you will need a proven track record of EIA and project management and ideally be a member of IEEM. You will be able to demonstrate self-motivation and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Being able to work to set deadlines and targets, you will ideally have a 2:1 or higher degree in an environmental subject; a post graduate qualification in EIA and experience in environmental consultancy is preferred. As well as an in-depth knowledge of renewable energy in UK energy supplies, the ideal Senior EIA Consultant will also understand offshore project challenges.
Senior EIA Consultant is a challenging role which will include providing high quality advice to clients on statutory requirements, strategy and defining assessment parameters for the EIA. As well as comply with quality management systems, as Senior EIA Consultant you will also lead submission negotiations with consultees and authorities. You will provide high quality service and take a leading role in budgeting, client liaisons and report writing. With a strong hold in the windfarm industry, the suitable Senior EIA Consultant will focus on the project management of EIA for a wide range of developments.
